New to the Humidor!
Dunbarton To***co & Trust have released two new excellent ci**rs: the limited Muestra de Saka Unstolen Valor and the Mi Querida Gorilla Gordo.
The Muestra de Saka Unstolen Valor comes presented in wooden coffins, concealing a toothy rich brown cigar. The blend features a Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and a Dominican, Nicaraguan & USA Connecticut Broadleaf. The cigar is a medium strength, medium-bodied experience from start to finish. Earthy mineral notes, chocolate, black pepper, and a touch of nuttiness. Beautiful burn and reliably consistent, up until the midpoint where the earth and pepper stand more apparent in the experience.
The Mi Querida Gorilla Gordo comes in a beastly 6×60 size with a 109-style cap. This cigar comes adorned in a flawless Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, thick, oily and dripping with character. The interior features a sturdy Nicaraguan binder and aged Nicaraguan fillers. Robust, rustic, and oh so satisfying. The Mi Querida opens with espresso, black pepper, leather and mellow mineral notes. The smoke is thick, chewy, and has remarkably output. The draw was tighter than what I typically smoke, but that reminded me some ci**rs are best enjoyed slow. Happy to have a cigar to remind me to pump the brakes once in a while and enjoy the scenery.
