Core Cans is excited to be working with the talented team at

Our recent visit to Silver King Beverage Company in Salt Lake City (formerly known as Vobev) highlighted just how far beverage co-packing has come. Silver King isn’t just a filling facility – they’re vertically integrated, manufacturing the cans themselves and blending the liquids on-site. This streamlines the process, cuts down on transport emissions, and gives brands a faster path from idea to store shelves.

Many thanks to the amazing crew at Silver King, specifically Ben Labadie, Neil Nersesian, and CEO John Sacksteder. Special thanks to Alvin Widitora whose expert guidance made this trip possible. Working with Silver King and our incredible partners ensures Core Cans continues to offer the highest quality 12oz and 16oz brite cans – and full truck load orders for printed cans.

It’s a game-changer for beverage brands. We’re proud to be part of it.

We’re honored to support the Central Valley Brewers Guild in their 2025 collaboration beer: Valley Kölschure!

Crafted by guild members and supported by a crew of passionate industry partners—including Briess, Yakima Valley Hops, AEB Brewing, and Capital Label Company —this project is a true reflection of what makes the beer community so special.

Core Cans proudly contributed packaging support by donating cans for this release. We’re excited to see Valley Kölschure hit the market and to celebrate the creativity and collaboration that went into every drop.

Look for it on tap and in cans throughout the Central Valley in the coming weeks. Cheers to building community—one beer at a time.

At Core Cans, sustainability isn’t just a feature—it’s a standard.

We’re excited to highlight one of our favorite collaborations: Ray Ray’s Sonoran Spirit Tea, packaged using Eco Rings from E6PR—a compostable, biodegradable alternative to plastic can carriers.

Ray Ray’s is a family-owned business based in Tucson, Arizona. Born out of the hospitality industry and crafted with care, their ready-to-drink tea spritzers are low ABV, naturally gluten-free, and full of heart. From the ingredients inside to the packaging outside, this brand lives its values.

We're proud to help beverage makers like Ray Ray’s bring better drinks to the world—without the waste.

Learn more about Eco Rings and how Core Cans supports sustainable beverage packaging. Let’s build a future where good spirits don’t cost the earth. 🌎

Quality takes teamwork!
During our recent visit to Can One USA, we had the opportunity to dive deeper into their Quality Assurance and Quality Control lab—the heart of their commitment to excellence.

In these behind-the-scenes photos, our very own Christian and Kirk Anderson from Core Cans are joined by Cara Taylor, Quality Manager at Can One USA, and Stephen Jade for an in-depth discussion on the rigorous testing, systems, and standards that help ensure consistent, high-performing packaging.

From seam integrity to pressure testing and everything in between, we’re always learning and evolving alongside our partners to raise the bar for our customers.
Big thanks to the Can One USA team for the continued transparency, collaboration, and innovation.

We are looking forward to attending the Brewers Cup of California 2025 Awards Ceremony this Friday, April 25th, in Sacramento. The Brewers Cup is one of the largest and most respected professional beer competitions in the state, recognizing excellence in brewing across a wide range of styles. Presented by the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild in partnership with the brewers guilds of California, it brings together the best of California’s independent beer industry under one roof.

Our Sales Manager, Tim Decker, will be there checking in with customers, meeting with brewers, sharing ideas, and celebrating the outstanding craft beer being made across our state.

To show our support for California’s brewing community, Core Cans is offering $100 off your next order to any medal-winning brewery at this year’s competition. We’d love to help make your next release stand out on the shelf.

If you’re attending, we’d love to connect—come say hello!

Big thanks to Production Manager Stephen Jade and the team at Can-One USA for hosting Core Cans in Nashua, NH last week!

Co-founders Kirk and Christian Anderson, along with Tim Decker (Sales Manager), toured Can-One’s impressive, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and discussed key topics including aluminum tariffs, domestic sourcing, quality control protocols, and their flexible printed can capabilities.

One highlight? Can-One’s ability to offer plate printed cans at half truckload minimums (13 pallets = 80,912 cans)—a game-changer for growing beverage brands looking for premium, scuff-resistant packaging without committing to full truckload quantities.
Unlike digital printing, plate printing is applied during the manufacturing process itself, resulting in sharp, durable graphics that don’t scratch or rub off in transit or on the shelf.

It’s clear that Can-One shares Core Cans’ commitment to quality, sustainability, and service. Their U.S.-based production model and forward-thinking approach to the supply chain make them a strong partner for Core Cans and its customers.

Also worth noting: Kirk and Stephen may have accidentally launched the official Core Cans uniform—blue collared long sleeves and khakis. 🤝👔👖

🚐 On the road with Alchemy Canning

We had the chance to ride along with Jose Garcia of Alchemy Canning — one of the most experienced mobile canners in Northern California and a long-time Core Cans partner. Jose has filled more of our cans, with a wider range of beverages, in more conditions than anyone else out there.

He’s not only canning for breweries, cideries, and wineries across the region — he’s helped many of them get their own lines off the ground and continues to collaborate with Can One to test out new products.

On this run, we’re at Porchlight Brewing in Sacramento, helping can three fresh new releases into our 16oz cans, sealed with our LOE ends to keep every pour tasting brewery-fresh.

Shoutout to Jose for the hustle and precision, and to the team at Porchlight for trusting Core Cans to deliver shelf-ready results every time.

📢 No April Fools here—just transparency. 📢

We know that every penny counts in today’s craft beverage industry, and we’ve worked hard to keep costs stable for the last two years. But with newly implemented tariffs on imported aluminum and steel, the cost of cans has gone up industry-wide.

While this is out of our hands, we’ve been doing everything possible to soften the impact—securing better shipping rates, utilizing a flexible dunnage policy, and expanding our supply chain to keep your costs competitive.

Starting in April, you’ll see a small price adjustment on our cans, and moving forward, we’ll be adjusting pricing monthly based on market conditions.

We get it—price changes are never ideal. But we’re in this together, and we’ll continue fighting for the best pricing and support for you. Have questions? Let’s talk.

💪 Thank you for trusting us and for keeping craft beer thriving. 🍻
