Coyotes can be hunted year round in Kansas. but if you plan to hunt at night with special equipment, make sure you’re following the updated rules.

Night Vision / Thermal / Artificial Light season:
✅ Allowed Sept. 1 – March 31
❌ Not allowed during antlered firearm deer seasons

For the 2025–2026 season, the regulation change means the legal dates are:
• Sept. 29 – Dec. 2, 2025
• Dec. 15 – Dec. 31, 2025
• Jan. 1 – March 31, 2026 (Night vision ends March 31)

A few important reminders:
• A Night Vision Equipment Permit is required (in addition to a hunting license).
• This equipment cannot be used on KDWP department lands and waters, including WIHA.
• No vehicle use in conjunction with night vision/thermal/artificial light equipment.

Kansas weather is unpredictable… but these dates aren’t. 😉
Before you head out, double-check regulations and hunt safe.

We are currently out of bait but expecting a delivery tomorrow. I know this is not what you want to hear on such a beautiful day to go fishing but out of my hands. We open at 8an on Sundays. I’m not sure what time the delivery will be here but I’ll try to post something when it arrives
