PRANK WAR CHAMPIONS!

After a long week of tryouts, we told the girls to bring their outdoor running shoes. They were not pleased with us! 😡

Until…..

We said run to Bluemkes Food Mart and get a scoop on us! Lots of fun bonding and the biggest smiles! 😃

"I work at a gas station."

There's a certain stigma attached to this phrase that our staff is very familiar with.

Our jobs are a difficult thing to explain to someone who's never been here because this store is so much more than just a gas station.

This is a sixth-generation, family-owned company at the heart of a small community. On many days, you can find four generations of family members working throughout the store.

In addition to selling fuel, we're running a deli, a bakery, and an ice cream shop. The kitchen is always buzzing with activity and kids learning how to make our recipes.

Is it an easy job? Nope. Is it glamorous? Not at all.

It's chasing drive-offs, cleaning up fuel spills, and watching helplessly as people drive away with the nozzle in their vehicle.

It's cleaning bathrooms, plunging toilets, taking out the garbage, and doing piles of dishes that never end.

It's smelling like waffle cones, popcorn, and gasoline after every shift and coffee stains on our white shoes.

It's three timers going off at once while there's a line for ice cream and someone just bought the last of the sugar cookies.

But it's also so many funny stories, endless laughter in the kitchen, and memories to last a lifetime.

It's the happy chaos of a Little League night or a Packer Sunday when the store is filled with excited kids and families.

It's favorite customers that make our day, sampling every ice cream flavor, and dance parties after closing.

It's going out of our comfort zone, learning new things, and building skills that will be useful in all aspects of life and leadership.

Our store is filled with teenagers learning the responsibilities of their first job, college students working to put themselves through school, and adults who are a steady presence in their lives. It's the friends who become family through shared experiences.

So yes, we're proud to say that we work at a gas station. Step inside and see what it's all about!

Wrapping up summer with good food, great company, and plenty of laughs!

We’re so grateful for our amazing team and loved getting everyone together for one last cookout before heading back to school or work. We enjoyed a night of tie-dying and testing out the new pickleball courts and playground equipment! 😊

Join us tomorrow night as we celebrate the new pavilion and playground at Taylor Park with a ribbon cutting and refreshments!

The Sweet Stop will be there serving free ice cream. A free sandwich meal and beverages will also be provided.🍦🍔

Winner, winner! 🙌⛽

Congrats to Marissa and Hanna, who are the recipients of the 2026 Wisconsin Fuel and Retail Association Scholarships. They will each receive a one-time award of $2,000. The WFRA awards only two scholarships annually in the state of Wisconsin.

Our kids have a pretty good track record with this scholarship, and this year is no exception! These girls have worked hard throughout their high school years. We're so proud of them and wish them the best of luck as they begin their college journeys soon! 👩‍🎓
