Stop in for your license!

🦌 Dig out your gear and get ready to suit up in blaze orange or pink – fi****ms deer opener is in five days!

If you still need to buy your license, you can do so in one of three ways:

🔶 Through the new app, MNDNR Licensing

Don’t wait until the night before – give yourself time, especially if you are unfamiliar with the new electronic licensing system.

Hockey families! 🏒💚

We now have Roseau hockey socks in stock at Denny’s!

Thanks to our partnership with Legends Sporting Goods out of Thief River Falls, we’re excited to have more hockey essentials available right here in town.

We have green and white hockey socks in a variety of sizes, along with some Roseau hockey apparel.

Stop in and check it out! We’re happy to support another small business while making things a little more convenient for our local hockey families!

Don’t wait until the last minute to get your hunting license before r***e season!

With the new DNR licensing system, we’ve already seen our fair share of hiccups. Between system issues and long wait times trying to get ahold of the DNR, some things just aren’t a quick fix.

We’re really encouraging everyone to stop in and get their licenses EARLY this year! That way, if we run into an issue, there’s time to hopefully get it straightened out before opening morning.

We’re always happy to help however we can, but please remember there are still things that are out of our hands as a licensing agent.

If you’d rather tackle it yourself, you can also purchase your license online or through the new Minnesota DNR app!

We just don’t want anyone scrambling at the last minute or missing out on opening morning because of a licensing issue!

With the Minnesota DNR’s new licensing system, we know there have been lots of questions and a little bit of confusion as everyone gets used to the changes!

We’re happy to help however we can! Stop in at Denny’s Outdoor Sports and we can get you set up with your hunting or fishing license. 🎣🦌

Just a heads up — there are some things the new system does not allow us to do on our end. In certain situations, you may need to contact the Minnesota DNR directly to get something corrected or taken care of before we can issue your license.

We’re learning the new system right along with everyone else and will always do our best to help get you taken care of!

Deer hunters: Buy your license early! 🦌

The Minnesota DNR launched a new electronic license system in June. The new system is functioning well, but it is a bit different and users may find their first transaction takes a little more time as they acclimate.

In addition, some individuals who had multiple records in the old system will require customer assistance from the DNR License Center to transfer their history and establish their account in the new system.

Don't wait until the night before. You can buy your license one of three ways:

Introduce the next generation to hunting! 🧡

Take a Kid Hunting Weekend is Saturday, Sept 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27. 🔶

During this weekend, adult Minnesota residents accompanied by a youth younger than age 16 may hunt small game without a license, although they must comply with open seasons, limits and other regulations. 👩‍👦‍👦

Several small game seasons are open including squirrel, grouse, rabbit, dove, and more. 🪶
