Lewis University Dining Our dining program has been designed with you in mind. Please refer to our dining schedule when planning your meals. We are open for lunch and dinner.

Flexibility, varied hours and a choice of dining locations will enable you to find the perfect place to dine at the perfect time. The Laverne & Dorothy Brown Dining Hall is located in the Brother James Gaffney Student Center. It offers a wide variety of meal selections from breakfast to dinner. Offerings include an international station, a salad bar, a vegan station, pizza station, grill, deli & c

arvery, bakery and dessert station, soup, and much more. Charlie’s Place, located in the Academic and Science building, offers delicious, customized sandwiches and salads through Subconnection, an abundance of grab and go items through Simply to Go, and much more. The Flyer's Den is your answer to a quick lunch or late night snack. We offer a grill format with Chicago favorites: pizza, wings, sandwiches, and salads. We also have the Island Oasis fruit smoothies as well as F'Real milkshakes. The Courtyard Cafe is a high-end deli restaurant, featuring We Proudly Serve Starbucks coffee. Our breakfast options range from Belgian Waffles to specialty sandwiches to a selection of high-end pastries and fresh fruit. We offer toasted or panini grilled subs and sandwiches, fresh tossed salads, soup, coffee, and fruit drinks in a relaxed atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Common Grounds, located in the Brother James Gaffney Student Center, is a convenience store that is your one stop shop for everyday needs. Common Grounds features We Proudly Serve Starbucks coffee, Simply To Go items, snacks, bottled beverages, and other basic supplies. We invite and encourage you to call us anytime with questions, comments or suggestions about your Campus Dining experience.
