🎉 Garibaldi Days Parade Route – Same as Last Year! 🎉

We’ve been getting a few questions and have seen the comments, so here’s the information:

YES — the parade route is the same as last year!
YES — construction along Hwy 101 is expected to be complete before the event!
And YES — we promise it’s all coming together.

Parade Route Map:
The route will follow the familiar path up 7th Street from the port to Hwy 101, making its way through the heart of town. Bring your chairs and enjoy the morning!

We know everyone is excited, and we truly appreciate your enthusiasm. We’re rolling out event details as they are finalized, so please be patient, stay tuned, and enjoy the countdown to Garibaldi’s biggest weekend of the year!

Parade Day: Saturday, July 26, 2025
Lineup begins at 9:00 AM – Parade rolls at 11:00 AM!

Did you know that if you find a hairy looking sand dollar, it’s probably alive?! 👀 Yes you read that right, ALIVE! Sand dollars are living creatures closely related to sea urchins and sea stars. ✨ And those “hairs” are actually called spines and cilia. The spines and cilia help the sand dollar move through the water on the ocean floor, burry themselves in the sand and catch plankton and other tiny foods it likes to eat! Also, did you know that sand dollars can live 6-10 YEARS?! If you suspect you may have found a live sand dollar, make sure to be gentle and carefully place it in the water as they cannot survive long out of it. It’s illegal in Oregon to keep living sand dollars, so ALWAYS put living sand dollars back in the water to help protect our sea floor friends.🌊💗
