cheeseplus You might recognize Miles Garrett's
smiling pig from our shelves in the past-and his new
crop of wines have landed! A small, family winery in
the Willow Creek AVA up in Humboldt County allows
the farm animals (donkeys, pigs, chickens, etc.) into
the vineyard at certain times to graze. No wonder th
pig is smiling! Jessica and Ea got to meet Miles and
try his wines just last week and were so impressed b
the fresh, clean, distinctive wines he is producing,
they couldn't wait to get them on the shelves to share
with you! Featured: Sangiovese: full of texture,
moderately extracted, kicky and full of life. "Dragon
Field Blend" stands out as a distinct, balanced
blend-not muddled and indistinct as field blends
sometimes become. The Dragon Field blend breathe
fire with its co-fermented mix of 50% Pinot Noir, 30%
Merlot and 20% Nebbiolo. Can definitely take a little
chill! Lastly, the Pinot Noir is a light, bright stunner of
a wine, showing its heritage of warm summer inland
heat days and cool marine chill nights. Divine!
