Beer Hates Astronauts Half Acre Beer Company Thanks to Ryan Browne this beer gets weirder every year. What holds true is its intense focus on Citra, one of hop farming’s niftiest tricks. Some years back, we moved the yeast to London 3 to plump it up, and it’s served this beer well. The beer LANDS. Strawberry and cream set on pillows on top of pillows. While bone dry IPAs have a foothold in the sensory moonscape of Half Acre, big, plush blooms of flavor like this, have a big bunk in our little hostel. Beer Hates Astronauts is a liquified testament to Ryan Browne’s comic, God Hates Astronauts.

Furthermore is a Double Oaked Imperial Stout Fermented in Missouri oak foeders. Aged for 6 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels, then transferred to freshly emptied Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Barrels for an additional 8 months. Finished on Toasted Coconut. 15% ABV. This is the most expressive coconut beer we have ever made. The balance is beautiful.

Perezoso . If you enjoy lazy days and sipping on refreshing libations, you'll love this bright and slightly tangy smoothie-style ale. Perezoso, or “sloth” in Spanish, is our fruit-packed collab with Florida’s very own Tripping Animals Brewing Co. For this second batch, we infused approximately 1,700 pounds of organic blueberries and 850 pounds of organic Kent mangoes into the base beer post-fermentation to give it that rich, smoothie-like texture. You'll smell the sweet aroma of blueberry jam, passion fruit, and blackberry, then taste vibrant flavors of ripe mango, crushed blueberry, and tangy orange juice. Pour yourself a glass of this perfectly tart and sweet fruity concoction, then kick back, relax, and enjoy la pura vida.

Clearer Thinking is a new bold and flavorful West Coast DIPA brewed in collaboration with the 2022 Alpha King Challenge winners, Radiant Beer Co. We experimented with new techniques to create this beer and, as our first centrifuged West Coast DIPA, we are extremely pleased with the final result. Its sensory profile is sure to impress, with aromas of resin, dehydrated pineapple, and grapefruit rind that grace the nose, and flavors of melon, dank, and apricot that are rounded out by a clean bitter finish on the palate.

Lucent Shadows
Lucent Shadows is a murky double IPA with Superdelic (formally NZH 102), Southern Cross, Mosaic, and Mosaic Cryo hops. We are particularly thrilled about this beer because we played a role in the breeding process of Superdelic through our involvement in NZ Hops’ Bract Brewing Programme. (Fun fact: We may also be one of the first breweries to use this new hop varietal in a commercial beer!) This DIPA features a complex blend of fruity aromas, including peach, strawberry, and raspberry. Sips are filled with a harmonious blend of mango, sweet citrus, and white floral notes. Grab a can of Lucent Shadows and take your taste buds on a Superdelic journey.
