Throughout the years we have built a business that has been able to evolve to the changing market, recessions, competition, and market needs, and we have been met with amazing encouragement from our customers. So much support that it goes beyond what we could have imagined. We are proud of our local community, which has made our unique local business a success. We love to hear all the wonderful reviews, and articles of our distinct little store, which weighs heavily on our hearts as we made this decision…
We owe it to you, our customers, to announce that after doing business at this location for 57 years we have decided to downsize, to simplify our lives, to spend more time with our grandchild, and family. We have built a business cherished by the community, and we are so thankful for that unwavering support! We are absolutely blown away by the love this community has given us. Shop-N-Go, our independent little name will remain open at our Moana location, but the South Virginia location has been purchased--we think you will like what the new owners have planned. We are happy to hear their business falls along the lines of what we envisioned Shop-N-Go South would one day become.
We will miss seeing the faces of each of you, our loyal customers. You are every bit a part of this store, and the history of this location. We know this isn't the most popular idea for all of you, our supportive customers, but the opportunity to semi-retire presented itself, and we think it is the best option for our family. We are very emotional about saying goodbye to this location. This little store has been a very big part of our family. Please do come by and say goodbye!
