The Redding Wine & Spirits June Wine Club Selections are ready for pick up!
Sallier de La Tour Inzolia Sicilia DOC:
One of most historical grapes of the region, Inzolia is an ancient Sicilian variety, once used to produce table grapes thanks to its sturdy skin. Found to also produce excellent wine, the varietal is prized for the Mediterranean aromas of orange blossom and almonds that are unique it.
Christina Rosé Zweigelt:
A dark and layered rose from an organic winery helmed by a female vigneron, Christina Netzl, with solid structure and ripe fruit. Fragrant aromatics and big cherry notes, but still restrained and elegant. Delectable with food, this is an excellent example of a more natural rose that balances texture and freshness.
Le Ragose Valpolicella Classico:
A fresh style of valpolicella, it has a brilliant garnet hue, with a nose of fresh cherries and currants. The palate is light-bodied, with smooth tannins, bright and highly drinkable. Excellent with lamb, veal, duck and roast chicken. Perfect served chilled.
