So we’ve invited our friends from Baltimore Crab Cake Company - Baltimore to hang out at Gunpowder Falls Brewing for the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 of the Gunpowder Falls Brewing 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗰𝗸 this 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 from 𝟮 – 𝟲 𝗽.𝗺. This year’s Maibock is incredibly smooth and exceptionally dangerous with a ABV of 8.2%. We don’t want to say it’s perfectly balanced, but … You’ll definitely not find a fresher quality German Maibock anywhere in the mid-Atlantic.

This is the Gunpowder Falls Brewing 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗰𝗸. It is straight from the tank and hasn’t been filtered yet. This is what it looks like in the Lager Phase. The Lager Phase for the Gunpowder Falls Brewing Maibock lasts for five weeks in two stages at extremely cold temperatures. It is the Lager Phase at such cold temperatures that gives our beers their smooth and balanced taste and finish. Total fermentation time for this Maibock is two months! Time isn’t always on our side, but it’s the necessary ingredient for a premium quality lager beer. Look for the Gunpowder Falls Brewing Maibock at your local store beginning the 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘆.

By now many of you probably have heard that The Oktoberfest in München, Germany has been cancelled for 2020. The Minister President of Bavaria, Markus Söder, and the Mayor of Munich, Dieter Reiter, said, “Plain and simple, the risk is too high.” This will mark the 25th time in 210 years that the Oktoberfest has been called off. Fortunately, for those who live in Pennsylvania and Maryland, Gunpowder Falls Brewing is still available. While you can’t attend Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany this year, rest assured you can still get German lager beers just as fresh as in Bavaria and brewed according to the same brewing methods from Gunpowder Falls Brewing.

This weekend while the lot of you are lounging around the house watching Netflix, Hulu, and digging into your supply of canned beans and veggies, Gunpowder Falls Brewing decided it would be a great time to brew another batch of our award winning Pilsner. Brewed with exceptionally soft water, the finest Summer 2-row malted barley, select hops from the Hallertau, and a traditional yeast strain from Bavaria, there is no other German Pilsner around that is as smooth and fresh. (Seriously, it’s fresher and smoother than any other German beer you can buy. Gunpowder Falls Brewing Pilsner, Dunkel, and Export Hell travel no further than 100 miles to reach you.
