Established in 1980, Gail and Taylor Cash incorporated the Taylor’s Wine Shop we know and love still today! Taylor’s is proud to be a part of the North Raleigh community has left many footprints through supporting local charities, hosting family friendly events and connecting consumers with each other in ways they never imagined they could 38 years ago when this business was only a dream. We are a place where you can meet new friends, share experiences and make lasting memories at. Our family grew up in this store and we have enjoyed watching our customers families grow up with us too. Since we opened our doors in 1980, we have evolved and grown with the community and are proud to offer the best selections of rare and hard to find wines, craft beers, coffee and even live bait! We have come along way since the days we served lunch in the grill and offered VHS (video) rentals. We still have live bait and those tasty hot biscuits in the morning. Taylor still comes in most mornings to chat with the locals and reminisce on the good old days. Some things never change, but then again some things do, such as our ever expanding collection of fine wines and craft beer! Whether you are coming by for gas and a biscuit in the morning or joining us at one of our wine tastings, you are sure to enjoy your time at Taylor’s. We have knowledgeable and friendly staff who work hard to make sure you find what you need and have an overall great experience every time you come to Taylor’s.
We have wines to for every palate and price range, but as our customers will tell you, Taylor’s is THE place in Raleigh to track down California’s (and the rest of the world too) most sought after, hard to find and collectible wines.
Don’t let the “Live Bait” sign or the wall of $100+ Cabernet’s fool you, we have tons of great bottles in the $10 to $25 range, plus an ever expanding selection microbrew and imported beers, local artisan crafted chocolates and coffees and much more. We also pride ourselves on our service as much as our selection. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you select the perfect beer or wine or special order your favorite if we don’t have it in stock.
