📢 Attention Maine Residents & Business Owners:
Effective January 2026:
• The State Tax on Ci**rs will increase to 75%.
• The Tax on Ma*****na will be set at 14%.
Meanwhile, just across the border in New Hampshire, there is NO state tax on ci**rs.
Governor Mills — you may not like ci**rs, but I don’t like ma*****na. Still, your policies are sending a clear message to the people of Maine:
“If you’re going to smoke, smoke ma*****na — it’s cheaper.”
Let’s not forget:
• Ma*****na is a psychoactive drug
• It remains federally illegal
Where is the equity for Maine businesses trying to survive? We are being taxed out of existence while our dollars flow into New Hampshire.
It’s time to ask: Are we supporting public health, or just picking winners and losers?
