They didn’t just come back — they brought people with them.

Lately, we’ve been seeing repeat customers bring visiting friends and family into the store and show them things they’ve liked, recommended, or bought here before.

That means a lot to us.

There’s something special about watching someone walk another person over to a display and say, “This is the kind of thing I was telling you about.”

Moments like that remind us that a store can be more than just a place to shop.
It can become part of how people share a town, a visit, or a memory with someone else.

She came back just to tell us the margaritas were excellent.

A woman from Texas came into the store while she was in Port Angeles for work and asked if we knew a good Mexican restaurant in town.

We sent her to Sergio’s.

The next day, she came back and told us the food was so good and the margaritas were excellent.

We love moments like that.

Sometimes people come in looking for souvenirs. Sometimes they’re just looking for a good recommendation, a little local help, or the next good stop in town.

Helping people enjoy Port Angeles is part of the fun too.

We were closed, but he saw it in the window and had to come back.

A man was eating next door when one of the hats in our window caught his eye.

Later, he came in, walked straight to it, and bought it.

My wife puts a lot of care into our street-facing windows, and moments like that remind us those little details really do matter.

Sometimes people don’t plan on stopping in.
They just see something they love.

They put the shirts on before they even left the store.

A group of five visitors came in while vacationing in Port Angeles and found one of the Olympic National Park shirt designs we make right here in the shop.

Each of them picked their favorite color.

Then, instead of just carrying them out in a bag, they changed into them right there so they could spend the rest of the day sightseeing in their Olympic National Park shirts.

That’s the kind of thing that makes us smile.

Sometimes people aren’t just buying a shirt.
They’re choosing the memory they want to be wearing when they make the next one.

They had been all over town before they found us.

This weekend, a family of four from Missouri told us they had been looking for just the right place — and when they walked into our store, they said we were exactly what they had been hoping to find:

“A good old fashioned souvenir store.”

They stayed nearly an hour, picking out T-shirts, hoodies, magnets, and gifts to take back home.

That meant a lot to us.

We’ve always hoped All About Here would feel like the kind of place where people can find something fun, something local, and something worth carrying home.

Most people don’t plan on stopping in here.

They’re walking the street… maybe heading somewhere else…
and then something in the window catches their eye.

They step in “just for a second.”

And 15 minutes later, they’re still here—
telling us where they’re visiting from and what they’ve seen so far.
