The first event in the books for Boston Rum Week at Silver Girl last night was a packed house. Thank you to all who purchased tickets and attended the event, as you were the first ever to sample the new releases, including the highly anticipated 17 YR Jamaica DOK! Special thanks to Dawn Campagna Aguiar for hosting the event; the food pairings were sheer perfection! Lastly, thank you to my friends John and Lorri Hsu and Raising Glasses for sponsoring my event. Everyone should be incredibly grateful for all the work you do for Boston Rum Week, which really wouldn't exist without you.

Sometimes cask hunting leads you to exactly what you set out to find. The best days lead you somewhere you never expected.

I discovered this gin while traveling through Ireland in search of casks. Distilled with 22 botanicals, it already had a character that stayed with me—but I kept thinking about what carefully chosen oak might reveal.

That idea took me to France, where I spent time with a tonnelier—a French cooper—and commissioned a French oak cask made specifically for this spirit. The gin then came to Kentucky to rest in that cask, developing a deep amber color, a beautifully rounded texture and layers of oak that complement rather than overwhelm its botanicals.

The result is a balanced sipping gin unlike anything else we have released—and one of the products I am proudest to share.

Now available for purchase and home delivery in the U.S. at www.roamingroadspirits.com.

Please enjoy responsibly. 21+
