DBS = Double Broadleaf Selection. Broadleaf is almost always used as a wrapper — Rocky flipped it and buried two different broadleafs inside, in the binder and filler (including rare U.S. Pennsylvania “Pennsy” leaf), then topped it with a San Andrés maduro. A whole cigar built around a leaf you normally only see on the outside. Rich, dark, savory-sweet. Rolled at Rocky’s own TAVICUSA factory.

The name says it all — “Knuckle Sandwich” is Guy Fieri’s skull-and-chef-hat brand, and yes, that Guy Fieri is a real cigar guy. He built the line with Erik Espinosa, rolled at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory. The twist on this one: a brand known for bold flavor making a Connecticut. Silky golden wrapper, all-Nicaraguan core underneath — smooth on the outside with a peppery bite. A Connecticut with attitude.

Blended by factory owner Sandy Cobas and STG’s Justin Andrews. Rolled the old Cuban way (entubado + triple cap). Only 5,000 numbered boxes exist, each hand-signed by its roller.

The original Cuban Corojo seed isn’t grown in Cuba anymore — it’s controlled by one man, Julio Eiroa (the family behind Camacho). “Vintage” means it literally is: leaf from the 2015–16 crop, aged before rolling, built as a tribute to the golden era of Cuban ci**rs (1947–61) when Habano wrappers covered Corojo filler. A true Honduran puro, crop to shop, all Eiroa. They really don’t make ’em like they used to — except the Eiroas still do.

“Rata Sucia.” It started as Steve Saka’s secret personal blend — born from a failed attempt to shrink the No. 9 into a tiny corona. Seven to***cos crammed into one small cigar makes it a nightmare to roll, and Saka swore it’d never go to market. Fans forced his hand, and it became the very first Liga Privada Único Serie release. (And no — that’s not the No. 9’s Broadleaf wrapper. It wears the T52’s Habano leaf.)

The name is a tribute. The 8-5-8 was Arturo Fuente’s personal blend, created after the Cuban embargo — but he passed away at 85 before it ever reached the market. His son Carlos Sr. released it in his honor and named it “8-5-8” for his father’s age, written to read the same from both directions: beginning to end. It’s the flagship of Arturo Fuente, and the Maduro wraps that legendary blend in dark, sweet Connecticut Broadleaf.
