Welcome, runners!

Grandfather Tree is excited to welcome everyone coming into town for the 54th Annual Avenue of the Giants Marathon. Whether you’re here to run, cheer, explore, or just enjoy the redwoods, we’re glad you made it to our little stretch of Highway 101.

Before or after the race, stop by and see the Grandfather Tree up close, grab a souvenir, stretch your legs, and take in a little redwood magic.

Good luck to all the runners — we’ll be cheering you on!

The Avenue of the Giants is getting some well-deserved attention — and we love to see it!

This 31-mile stretch through Humboldt Redwoods State Park is one of the most unforgettable drives in Northern California. Towering redwoods, winding roads, quiet groves, and that incredible feeling you only get when you’re standing among trees that have been here for centuries.

It’s right here in our backyard — be sure to stop by the Grandfather Tree on your way up!
