A message from Dolly:
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I wanted to take a moment to share that Friday, April 3rd, 2026 will be my last day working at the PitStop.
I truly cannot thank all of you enough for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the past 8 years. Because of you, I was able to rebuild the store and help make it what it is today. Together we made it through the reopening, the mill closing, and even Covid which is something I will always be proud of.
I will sincerely miss seeing each and every one of you every day. You were more than customers; you were part of my daily life and meant more to me than you probably realize.
While my time at the store is ending sooner than I originally planned, I believe everything happens for a reason, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
Thank you all again for everything over the years. I will miss you very much.
A message from Abby:
Hi everyone, I first and foremost want to thank all of you for supporting my mom and the business over the years. Watching her in her element and seeing her build something from the ground up over the past 8 years is something I will always cherish and be proud of.
I only worked at the store full time for about a year, but I truly enjoyed getting to know so many of you, and I will miss seeing you regularly. As many of you may have noticed, I haven’t been there for the past few weeks because I have happily returned to work with the Maryland Park Service.
Like she said, the future looks bright, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. I hope I’ll still get to see some of you around from time to time.
Thank you all again for everything.
