When Discount Dave's reopens they’ll be pulling our old backstock, putting it out, and heavily discounting the prices. We had things tucked away going back to the golden days of va**ng and everything will be dumped into tubs and prices labeled on each tub. If you need to stock up on coils, need a new mod, or want to resurrect the ancient one in your desk drawer don’t miss it.

With the constantly changing legal landscape, we've been weening our product lines, eliminating several sections of the shop, and shifting focus towards general merchandise.

Hillbilly V**e is being shrunk down to a smaller offering behind the counter in a larger general merchandise store. As customers know we've been shedding our pipes and smoking accessories sections for some time, boxed and eliminated our adult sections, have most of our bigger box mods and freebase liquids on sale for 50% off, and have brought in new lines of Geek V**e pod devices, salt nic juices, and are constantly swapping in and out new lines of disposables.

I no longer post many updates on this page as the focus has shifted to Discount Dave's & Blacklight Antiques both are operational and carry a wide range of products with Discount Dave's continuing to carry v**e products behind the counter.

Our Story

Your local home in Parsons WV for them dangfangled electronic tobacky thingamajiggers.

When my favorite local shop (Mountain V**e) closed down I got help/advice from the owner and launched Hillbilly V**e to fill the void. We started with a small display case full of juice in a side room at my Dixie Dave’s shop and grew from there by reinvesting almost all our profits back into the business. The growing shop soon exhausted the space in the side room and the decision was made to close Dixie Dave’s and expand Hillbilly V**e to fill the larger retail space. I added more shelving, displays, and inventory in order to build my dream shop and eventually WV items, body jewelry, and other non v**e related merchandise appeared in the shop as well.

On June 1st 2019 following a stellar carnival week that saw major expansions and increased sales the shop caught fire after a returned defective mod vented a lithium ion battery. The building was severely damaged and most of our inventory along with several display units were lost in the fire. It seemed at the time that the story of Hillbilly V**e would have an unexpected ending written in destruction.

Shortly after the fire during one of the darkest times I’ve ever known the community and the v**e industry began to rally behind us as offers of help began pouring in and quickly changed my attitude from one of defeat and uncertainty to one of perseverance. June 2nd saw discussions with my family and a decision to rebuild, June 3rd saw a meeting with the landlord and a path forward laid out, and the rest of the week saw volunteers cleaning and generosity in abundance.
