From the W5+1 Family
This post is from Josh Winbourn on behalf of my family and our store. It will be a little lengthy so if you need to keep scrolling, we understand.
We are not going to beat around the bush. We are getting right to the point for all those who need the short scoop, the latest news, something to talk about...with details to follow.
⭐️Lone Camp General will be Shutting its Doors.⭐️
We will be open for business until we run out of all the things that you have always stopped in to buy. So, there you have it...For all who have supported us through the years, thank you and we hope that you will appease us by reading the rest of this post.
I'm honest to a fault and catch myself speaking my mind when my mind sometimes needs to just stay within itself. In my honesty and transparency, I would like to paint a picture of the heart of my family. For some time now we have felt our heart transitioning from the store. We have hoped and prayed for someone to come in and buy and grow the vision of this little store in Lone Camp and be able to fall in love with this community just as we have. At the end of the day we also have known that it would take a very particular type of person. The success of this business isn't millions of dollars and multiple vacations. LOL The success of this business is serving this community and in turn being served by the community and making a living. All that said that person hasn't come yet and as hard as it is, it is time for our family to transition. We have no plans for major change. We plan to stay in Lone Camp.
*We want to watch our 19yr old continue to blossom
*I(Josh) will continue to field phone calls about my 16yr old driving too fast and all the other things that a typical boy does at this age (I LOVE THAT BOY)
*We want to chase our 13yr old to cheer, volleyball, basketball, XC and the other million things she wants to do.
*And lastly chase our 2yr old around with all his daily adventures.
We would just like to say:
*For all who darkened our doors from our first day of business, Thank You
For all who were patrons and made it a regular occurrence to trade with us, Thank You
*For all who dared to step into the crazy Winbourn family's life and come back for more, Thank You
*For all those that would be greeted by my shortness and snappy comments from time to time, Thank You
*For all those that let little Jojo set with you and eat your fries, Thank You.
*For all those that loved my family like theirs, Thank You
We love yall!!!! We are happy, We are sad, and we are everything in between!! We are excited for the next chapter in the life God has so graciously given us.
God Bless All
