30 years ago today... a sad day. Captain John Goessling lost his life after the burning roof collapsed on him during a 4 alarm fire next door at Family Dollar. It started when a 15 year old set our dumpster on fire, myself and a few co-workers tried putting it out, but it was too hot and started the roof on fire. It was a scary night, as we had no idea the damage to our stores.

We have moved across the street to the south of us! 6524 North 30th street. Same employees, same great prices, and many many new items including fountain soda, slushies, ice cream, novelty candy, liquor, beer, and shooters. But best of all we have a parking lot and now open until 9 PM. Stop in and see us, Four Aces Mini Mart!!!

People are always TRYING to spend copy money or movie money, when you work with money you can tell it’s fake before they ever give it to you… we confiscate it so they don’t spend it elsewhere. Ten dollar bills seem to be the one we get most. So if you pay cash, check your change before leaving places!
