HOW IT ALL STARTED:
Originally, it was called Time Out. My nephew, after enjoying a cocktail of gatorade and vodka, approached me with an idea of combining a vodka-based RTD with electrolytes. My response: “Genious! Let’s do it!” (😁😃)
TRADEMARK TROUBLE:
We had a soft launch in July 2025, and soon found out that our Trademark application was denied. Oh boyyyyyy (😵💫😵💫😵💫)
NEW NAME; SAME CONCEPT:
The name change still carries the same concept - Take a Time Out (“T⏱️”). We had to redesign our can and marketing, but we got it done! (Did I mention we had to hire an expensive trademark attorney (😳🫣)
LOCALLY MADE, FAMILY OWNED:
T⏱️ reached out to several distilleries, but only one answered our email - Sono 1420 Distillery in Norwalk CT. Ted has been our teacher, mentor, advocate and a friend! We came into this business 100% clueless and have learned a ton in a short amount of time! (🧐)
A YEAR LATER…
T⏱️ was launched in Oct 2025. Local bars and liquor stores supported us by purchasing and serving T⏱️! We had the whole family involved - tastings and promos all over Fairfield County!!!
THEN, the holidays came (🙁😫) and to make sales plummet even more, Dry January (who the hell has heard of this???)
APRIL 2026:
NEW YEAR. NEW SEASON. NEW LAUNCH. SAME TASTE 🤗
Yesterday, we delivered to 4 Bev Max locations: Stamford - Bedford St and East Main St and Norwalk - CT Ave and Westport Ave
