We Are Oglesby, NFP Corp. is proud to recognize Edward "Ed" Grubar as our June First Responder of the Month!

Ed's story is a reminder that service to others has no age limit. After a successful career, military service in the National Guard, and retirement, he chose not to slow down. Instead, he answered a new calling—serving his community through emergency medical services.

Since joining the Oglesby Ambulance Association in 2018 and serving with the Lostant Ambulance Service, Ed has become a dependable and compassionate presence for those experiencing some of life's most difficult moments. His dedication, humility, reliability, and willingness to help others exemplify everything a first responder should be.

Ed's journey into EMS was inspired by his daughter, Kelly Shan, and demonstrates how a passion for helping others can create a lasting impact on an entire community.

Thank you, Ed, for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our communities safe. We are honored to recognize you as our June First Responder of the Month.

You all really showed up for his bartending debut! If you missed him night, don’t worry you have another chance to catch him in action today starting at 4:00pm.

We are still accepting photo proof that he actually knows what he’s doing behind the bar 🤣📸

We have a new face behind the bar… well, not exactly new to Archway Tap 👀

Most call him Spami… but you can also call him Kris 😎

Tomorrow is his first official test… we mean SHIFT 😂 starting at 5:00 PM and Happy Hour from 4-6 PM 🍺

Stop in, say hi, and help us see if he survives his first night behind the bar 😅🍻 We sure hope so since he’s scheduled again on Saturday at 3:00pm.
