This is Pancake AKA "The Beef". After 8+ years of being the bestest of boys* we made the decision based on his quality of life to spare him any more pain & suffering back on July 1st.

Born with both swimmers syndrome and spina bifida he was never given much of a chance by people or vets alike. We were told on numerous occasions he "wouldn't live long" or he "probably wouldn't live past his 3rd birthday" but Beef didn't care. He just lived and couldn't be more full of life all the way up 'til the end.

Some of you are probably asking why post this on your biz page? Well Pancake, in so many ways, was Good Times spirit animal. He shouldn't have existed, yet he did. He was ultra determined & didn't let his issues slow him down. He was stubborn past any reasonable point. He was unique, more than a little bit crazy and yet still completely cared about his people.

He will forever be missed by myself and my family but he will never be forgotten. Long live "The Beef". Hope you're chasing some geese somewhere buddy.

It is with a heavy heart that I share that my family's loving companion Pancake (aka The Beef) recently left us after a lifelong battle with swimmer's syndrome and spina bifida.

This Friday marks the return of and Natchez's amazing plant based southern food. We are incredibly excited to help share this incredible food with our existing customers and hopefully make some new friends as well!
