We want to thank our community and all of our customers and friends for supporting us for nearly 18 years now! Black Sheep Wine and Beer Shop is an independent retail wine and beer store along the coast in southern Maine, USA.We specialize in small production wines and craft beers and have over 650 different wines and many specialty beers in stock.We also carry a variety of specialty foods, chees

e and chocolates, Maine Blueberry wine and Maine Craft Beers. We are open year round ,create gift baskets with local delivery,case discounts, monthly feature/ sale wines and we also host wine appreciation days.

When we began,over twenty years ago, we never knew what the future held for us or our store. But thanks to you all,we're still here and still enjoying it!
You never know what the future holds. We're looking forward to 2025!! We are sending fond thanks and extending our hope for you all to enjoy good health and happiness in the next year!
We'll be taking a couple of weeks off, closing at 4pm today-see you in 2025!

What's new? We have sweet gift wrapped mini-bottles of French Champagne in stock as well as all Maine-made Gift Baskets, Maine-made chocolate stocking-stuffer gift packs, Maine beers gift box samplers as well as some new zero alcohol sparkling wine,that tastes really good!
If you're looking for local, we stock some great Maine wines, beer, cheese and chocolates and our philosophy extends to supporting hundreds of small family farms around the world who cultivate and produce beautiful unique wines,ciders and beers that we are lucky enough to sell in our store. By supporting them we hope to ensure that some of these low- production unique products will still be available for future generations. We have some ciders here that are made from the fruit of 200 year old trees in Normandy. We have wine that is made from vineyards practically on the beach in Spain as well as wines produced from the foothills of the Alps. I wonder if they sell Maine lobster in their countries?

FYI-We're happy to have fresh York Hill Farm Roules back. This farm is in Washington,Maine and they make excellent cheeses from goat's milk and cow's milk. They are really nice people,too! We currently have their green peppercorn with nutmeg and the dill with garlic Dairy Duets. These are perfect for entertaining during the holidays! We're open today until 5pm,closed for Thanksgiving,then open again for Friday and Saturday this week, 10 to 5. Our regular hours are Tue.-Sat. ,10-5.

We're well-stocked with delicious wines and Maine brews for your Thanksgiving celebrations,so you can stock up! We've been supplying wine for over twenty years now,searching for the best value wines as well as some treats for special occasions and we've added great new wines every week.
Right now we have more than 150 wines under $20, if you're looking for something budget friendly but still tasty.
Don't forget our Maine beers selection,either. There are over 180 different breweries in Maine now!
