Job Title: Retail Associate - Liquor Store

Job Overview:
We are a family-owned liquor store seeking a dedicated and reliable Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing inventory, utilizing a POS system, and performing physical tasks to maintain the store's cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Learn and efficiently operate the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
Manage and organize inventory, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks.
Lift and handle heavy wine, beer, and liquor cases (up to 50 lbs) safely.
Perform cleaning tasks, including taking out trash and maintaining a tidy and presentable store environment.
Stay informed about beer, wine, and spirits to assist customers with knowledgeable recommendations.
Use computers and web-based tools for inventory management and online sales or promotions.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment with accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:

Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge or interest in beer, wine, and spirits is a plus.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong physical stamina to handle lifting, stocking, and cleaning tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Sales Associate (part-time) – North Falmouth Liquors

North Falmouth Liquors is a liquor store with carefully selected wines, spirits, and beer from all over the world.
We have looking for a professional, reliable and driven individual to join our team.

 Reliable, driven and friendly individual with excellent hospitality/retail experience. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the desire to provide exceptional customer service.
 Wine knowledge is a plus but strong consideration will be given to someone who is flexible, quick learner with a professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
 Building a rapport with customers and making recommendations/suggestions confidently is key to being successful in the role.
 Computer knowledge and ability to learn POS systems.
 The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and be able to do all necessary tasks including lifting heavy wine cases, taking out trash, and cleaning the store.
 Flexible schedule but available to work some nights, holidays and weekends.
