🥃 PRE-ORDER NOW: THE BALVENIE 1931 COLLECTION — LIMITED EDITION

12 Year Old | 100% Home-Malted Barley | 47.5% ABV

There are plenty of limited-edition whiskies. This one has something genuinely unusual behind it.

The Balvenie is one of only a handful of Scottish distilleries that still maintains its own traditional floor maltings. For the new Balvenie 1931 Collection 12 Year Old, they have taken that tradition considerably further—the whisky is made from 100% home-malted barley.

The whisky spends 12 years maturing in American oak before being finished in European oak ex-sherry butts from Jerez, Spain.

The result is classic Balvenie with another layer of richness: honeyed malt, delicate ginger spice, dried fruit and a rich, velvety finish.

The release is part of The Dawn of Our Spirit, The Balvenie's 2026 collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, celebrating important moments in the distillery's history and craftsmanship.

For Balvenie drinkers and collectors, this is a particularly interesting release—and one we expect will attract considerable attention.
