A lot has landed at Norfolk W**e & Spirits, so here are two very good reasons to go exploring.

An exciting new collection from Living Souls, Woodrow’s of Edinburgh, Creetown, Scotch Drinkers Only, Holyrood and others.
Single casks, old grain wh**ky, young peat, unusual finishes, familiar distilleries in unfamiliar forms—and plenty bottled at proper wh**ky-drinker strengths.

Two distilleries we don't often get to experience this way.

Gordon & MacPhail occupies a rather special place among Scotland's independent bottlers. Founded in Elgin in 1895, generations of the family built relationships with distilleries across Scotland, acquiring new-make spirit and developing an extraordinary understanding of maturation and the relationship between spirit and oak.

These two Citizens Selection single casks are wonderful examples of why that matters.

The Strathmill is perhaps even more unusual. Strathmill is not a name that appears frequently as a mature, cask-strength single-barrel release. At 25 years old, this is an opportunity to taste the distillery with age, concentration and individuality intact.

12 Year Old | 100% Home-Malted Barley | 47.5% ABV

There are plenty of limited-edition whiskies. This one has something genuinely unusual behind it.

The Balvenie is one of only a handful of Scottish distilleries that still maintains its own traditional floor maltings. For the new Balvenie 1931 Collection 12 Year Old, they have taken that tradition considerably further—the wh**ky is made from 100% home-malted barley.

The wh**ky spends 12 years maturing in American oak before being finished in European oak ex-sherry butts from Jerez, Spain.

The result is classic Balvenie with another layer of richness: honeyed malt, delicate ginger spice, dried fruit and a rich, velvety finish.

The release is part of The Dawn of Our Spirit, The Balvenie's 2026 collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, celebrating important moments in the distillery's history and craftsmanship.

For Balvenie drinkers and collectors, this is a particularly interesting release—and one we expect will attract considerable attention.
