Our new window art is certainly making a splash!

Yesterday, Mr. Tugby spent the morning painting this lovely daredevil to welcome guests at our front entrance, which also serves as a meeting point for Niagara Falls Adventures Daredevil Tour!

Best heed the fine lass’s advice, and “drop in” to Niagara’s original home for locally-made souvenirs and gifts. We’re open daily from 9-5, with extended summer hours starting soon!

If you hear a loud “thwacking” noise echoing through the Bazaar, don’t panic: Mr. Tugby’s likely writing a correspondence on his typewriter!

Sitting patiently on Mr. Tugby’s desk in the main mercantile, this authentic Underwood Model 5 was built in 1911, and save for the occasional sticky keys, it is in full working order!

Come on down to 616 Niagara Street, and Mr. Tugby might just let you try your hand at writing the next great American novel (or at least type your own name).

If you haven’t stepped foot in the Bazaar lately, you’re certainly missing out on our newest section: Tugby’s Time Machine!

This display features a rotating collection of vintage Niagara Falls memorabilia. Currently available from the vault is an assortment of midcentury decorative plates.

These gorgeous pieces are gilded in 22k gold, and would be a fine addition to your Niagara Falls collection, a wonderful unique souvenir to bring home, or even the perfect gift for that special someone (wedding cake, anyone?)

These pieces are limited, so be sure to stop by our flagship at 616 Niagara Street quickly to grab a piece of Niagara’s history.

We would like to congratulate Captain Joel Robinson on his successful navigation of the Niagara Rapids and whirlpool aboard the Maid of the Mist steamboat today.

The grizzled captain, who famously waded across the American Falls not one year ago, bravely drove the steamboat through thirty-foot waves, treacherous rapids, and the violent maelstrom of the Niagara whirlpool. Although the ship did lose its funnel during the journey, the mostly-intact vessel was delivered as promised to its buyer in Queenston. It is said that Robinson plans to retire with the payment of five-hundred dollars payment given to him for this service.

We say that everything here at Tugby’s tells a tale, and that even goes for our decor!

Take for example the steamboat model in our local souvenir display. This six-foot long paddleboat was based off of Niagara Navigation Company’s “Chicora”, which ferried guests from Lewiston to Toronto in the late 1800s. This model you see in our store was hand-built by our manager, who named it after his fiancée Vanessa to celebrate their engagement.

"We've already seen enough souvenirs here: I'm not wasting my time."

Now, here Henry stands on the dock, the full impact of a young woman's scorn upon him. For as plainly as one can see, our dearest missed out on going to TUGBY'S BAZAAR: Niagara's Most Wonderful Store for impeccable souvenir goods.

In his hubris, the foolish Henry presumed that Tugby's was like any other run-of-the-mill kitsch shop in Niagara. Alas, by the time he learned of the incredible quality and care Mr. Tugby and Co. put into each and every memento available at the Bazaar, the departing steamship horns had already sounded.

Unfortunately, Henry must now deal with the fact dearest was robbed of finding the perfect gifts for her family, and deprived of that finest keepsake of their trip to Niagara Falls.

Ladies and Gentleman, do not be so foolish as Henry. No store in the entirety of Niagara has the quality assortment found at Tugby's Bazaar. A trip to the Falls is tragically incomplete without a journey to TUGBY'S BAZAAR of 616 NIAGARA STREET. Hours are daily from 9am to 5pm.
