Throughout the year, customers can make wine on site at the shop or purchase supplies to make wine and beer at home. All supplies needed for making wine or beer at home are available in the store, from hops to juices or concentrates to bottles, caps or corks. Spending a total of two hours over a seven week period is all that is needed for a customer to make and bottle a batch (30 bottles) of wine,

for their family and friends. Red wine is best when aged at least six months, so planning is always necessary if your making red wines for a special occasion. White wines, sweet wines and beers are always best when consumed young, so the time that it takes to make them is all the time you have to wait. Come in and start now. You never know what special occasion is waiting just around the next turn of the dial.

It's getting a little late to get a wine made for Christmas dinner, but wine is great all year long and when it's a wine that you have had a hand in making, it's that much better. Dear friends and neighbors, I have been under the weather for about 8 months now and of all things now, COVID-19. I am at the shop on a limited basis for now, basically on call. I am praying along with you that those that can help, will do so, soon. Send me a text at 716-622-9864 or an e-mail at [email protected] to contact me. We will then make arrangements for taking care of your winemaking needs. Right now, the Governor, with good reason, has asked that we restrict any unnecessary movement outside our homes. Let's restrict ourselves for a few weeks and allow the fog to lift. Please contact me and I will try my best to take care of your requests. Praying for all of you, Matteo.

It's never too late to make wine and when you consider the possibilities that at Anello Wineplace, you can make one of many great wines, why not start one today and quickly send out invitations to your friends to start getting ready for a great party.
In two months your wine will be ready for bottling and if it's not delicious then, allowing a few months for aging will make it delicious.

Thanksgiving and Christmas 2016, even New Year's Eve, 2017 are holidays just around the corner in the life of making a good tasting red wine. Minimum, a red wine needs 6 months aging time for you to be able to decide whether or not you have succeeded in making a good or in the case of making wine at Anello Wineplace (AW), a great wine. So, now is the time for you to make that great wine you will be drinking a mere six months from now. Make your wine so that you bottle it in seven to eight weeks and store it away to enjoy a great bottle of wine in the holidays to come this and future years.

Some of your fellow winemakers that come to AW are now drinking four and five year old wine and licking their lips with joy.
