Owned and operated by Peter & Kim Newberry, Newberry Bros. Coffee & Prohibition Bourbon Bar is a one-of-a-kind, award-winning coffee shop and bourbon bar located in the historic East Row District of Newport, KY – across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, and just three blocks from Newport on the Levee attractions. Newberry Bros. Coffee was named "Best Independent Coffee House" by Cincy Magazine, and The Prohibition Bourbon Bar was recognized by The Bourbon Review as one of the "Top Bourbon Bars in America." Our Café features Organic, Fair-Trade coffee and espresso roasted on-site, and an amazing assortment of artisan pastries made from scratch. The evening menu features a great selection of decadent desserts and small plates. Our Prohibition Bourbon Bar features the largest collection of bourbon and rye whiskeys found anywhere. Bar none. Over 2,000 and counting. The full bar also has a great selection of Scotch, Irish, Tennessee and Japanese whiskeys. Along with cocktails, wine, beer, coffee and espresso drinks

The Prohibition Bourbon Bar plays host to many bourbon tasting events throughout the year, with Special Guests from all of the major distilleries. Check out our website or page for our current calendar of events. We are dog-friendly, so pets are welcome on our outdoor patio - named one of the best in Greater Cincinnati. There is a Red Bike Station located across the street, and free on-street and off-street parking. We proudly host fundraising events throughout the year to benefit the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP). Reservations strongly recommended. Large parties and private tastings available by request. For those wanting to book a special off-site event, we are happy to do that too. Thank you for your business. It is greatly appreciated. As are you. “Love you. Mean it.”

Cheers,
Peter & Kim Newberry

SH***un WEDDING. Shots weren’t the only thing on our menu on Saturday night. We were delighted when Danny & Missy asked to exchange their wedding vows at our Prohibition Bourbon Bar last night. From first date to marriage, these two have become like family to us, and it was an honor to host them and their loved ones on this special occasion.

Please join us in wishing Mr. & Mrs. Hollingsworth a lifetime of love & happiness. Cheers!
