This has been a rough winter up here but we are starting to get back in the groove of things.
We are looking for more SD made products for the store. And the rock shop business is tumbling along. Dont forget to stop by the spring and summer to see what is new and different. And happy spring everyone. Lets hope there is no more of this stuff.

Greetings,from beautiful down town Hoover. It looks like winter may finally be over. I promised everyone something new, so we have added a rock shop. Everyone wants to take a little Hoover home with them, now you can have something mother earth made herself. Gems and minerals from western SD. We are starting with beautiful wire wrapped gems and minerals.We have awesome translucent, agatized wood. Prairie agates, fossils, barite, calsite, selinite, feldspar, Wyo. Jade, Montana Moss Agates, all of these found, polished and wrapped right here. We also have larger pieces for the serious mineral collector or for landscaping and masonry. Shipping and handling varies by weight and size. If you have any questions or wish to order call Jean or Jerry at 605-866-4436 before 5pm mountain time and after 9:00 am. Sorry no orders on Sundays we are out rock hunting or hanging out with the Mayor.To see the larger pieces you should come to Hoover, pictures do them no justice. Store hours are everyday 8am-8pm. and if you and your family are looking for a good nights sleep our 4 bedroom house is for rent and there is always room for camping and tents. So come to Hoover one of the last, true general stores, just 33 miles north of Newell SD on Hwy 79 or 33 miles south of Reva SD on Hwy 79.
Hoover SD a great place to enjoy the peace and Quiet. Oh you will have to bring cash we dont accept plastic.☺

We at Hoover are going to try something new,we are going to be selling South Dakota rocks and minerals. We will be specializing in Hoover rocks like sectarian nodules, petrified wood, and many others. I will be making wire wrapped pendants that are truly one of a kind. Now you can take a piece of South Dakota home with you. Keep checking in we will also be taking orders for our minerals and pendants, pictures will be posted soon.
