💙 A Heartfelt Thank You from Park Avenue Deli & Food Market 💙
On behalf of our entire family and everyone at Park Avenue Deli & Food Market, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make the street naming in honor of Luis Reis possible.
For our family, this is so much more than a street sign. It is a permanent reminder of a man who loved his family, his community, and the people around him with his whole heart.
Luis spent so many years being a part of this neighborhood — working hard, building friendships, helping others whenever he could, and treating customers like family. He never did any of it for recognition. He simply believed in being a good person, taking care of people, and giving back to the community that gave so much to him.
Seeing his name permanently become a part of the neighborhood he loved is an honor that is difficult to put into words. Although we wish more than anything that he could have been here to see it, we know he would have been incredibly proud and humbled by all the love shown to him and our family.
To everyone who advocated for this honor, helped make it happen, attended the ceremony, shared memories, sent messages, and supported our family throughout the years — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Our family has felt so much love and support, not only during this special moment but throughout the many years we have been part of this community. We will never forget it.
Dad, your name will now forever be part of the streets you walked, the community you served, and the place where you left such a beautiful mark. Your legacy lives on through your family, your business, and every person whose life you touched.
