Edward Grimes 🙏🏾
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to post.
For 14 years, we’ve worked to make this shop more than a business—a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. Our team looks out for one another like family, and several of them have stood beside me for more than six years. They aren’t simply employees. They are family.
Recent regulatory changes in New Jersey caused a major part of our revenue to disappear almost overnight. I’ve taken on junk removal, cleanouts, repairs, and whatever other work I can through Hands of Renewal to keep the shop going and avoid laying anyone off. But I’ve reached a point where hard work alone isn’t enough, and I’m asking our community for help.
This fundraiser will help us catch up on essential expenses, protect our team, and give us the breathing room to adapt and build a sustainable future.
If this shop has ever welcomed you, helped you, or made you feel at home, please consider donating. If you can’t donate, sharing this post or the fundraiser can still make a tremendous difference.
Asking for help isn’t easy, but this place—and the people who make it what it is—are worth fighting for.
Thank you for standing with us. ❤️
