She openly shared her daughter’s MEF2C journey with us and we would like to spread awareness about this very rare and serious condition. 💙

Chris has been part of the Pompette family since the holiday season of 2017. From helping on Sundays to managing the store and developing our wine and spirits selection, he has been a big part of our story and growth over the years.

Why do we sweat Burgundy so hard? Terroir. What is that? People, places, things. All over Burgundy, the same two grape (Pinot Noir or Chardonnay) are grown in tiny plots with different soils, slopes, and exposures. Do the grapes get their sun in the morning or afternoon? Did you plant way up the hill where it’s cold? Did your vines dig deep for water only to find soil rich in calcium from prehistoric fossils? No lie—this is the madness and the magic of winemaking. Come for a drink, let the wines show you where they come from.
