Happy Cinco de mayo. On this upcoming special occasion we want to share a recipe of delicious Verde Paloma with don Julio Blanco tequila.

Ingredients:
1.25 oz. Tequila Don Julio Blanco
1/3 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Agave Syrup
1 Pinch Salt
5 Mint Leaves
Sanpellegrino Pompelmo for Top
Cucumber and Mint for Garnish

METHOD:
Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, a pinch of salt and mint leaves into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into an old-fashioned glass over fresh ice. Top with San Pellegrino Pompelmo. Garnish with cucumber and mint.

TASTING NOTES :

VOLCAN DE MI TERRI BLANCO
Distilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is typically unaged , clear, and bottled straight after distillation. Sometimes rested in stainless steel up to 60 days and can also be aged in wood for no more than 30 days.

VOLCAN CRISTILLIANO
Distilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged"
