Stop by tonight to taste one of our favorite Mezcals! Yola Mezcal is made from a recipe that is 100% Angustifolia Agave which was passed down from a Grandfather to his grandaughter, Yola. The operation remains all female produced with mature agaves from the Zapotec mountains in San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. After slow roasting the hearts of the "Pina" for 96 hours, the extracted juice is allowed to ferment with wild yeats for six days in New American Oak barrels(unlike three days from many competitors) which creates more robust and complex flavors. Then it is double distilled to get rid of off putting notes and chemicals. It is allowed to rest in glass containers before bottling which takes some of the smoke off of the palate and leads to striking flavors of peppered citrus that give way to a soothing, silky finish. Served neat or mixed, for beginners and savants. Stop by this evening to get your sample!

Stop by this Friday evening to taste a true Brooklyn classic ditillery's gems! We'll be sampling Breuckelen Distilling's Glorius Gin, Local Rye & Corn, Straight Rye as well as their Bourbon Rye. All made just a few blorcks from the store at 77 19th street. Each of these bottles have their own unique mash bill as well as story. Stop by for this rare occurence where we're pouring all four! We are very happy to have everyone sample this incredible Mezcal offering this Friday evening. The summer season is upon us so we'll be tasting one of Catedral's multiple award winning Ensamble blends of Espadin and Mexicano Mezcal. This classic spirit has both the Espadin and Mexicano agaves roasted in a traditional stone oven with the help of volcanic stones and mesquite wood. It is then milled on a Limestone Tahona that's get pulled by a donkey, fermented in traditional Sabino wood vats and finally double distilled in a Copper still. The master craftsman is a third generation Mezcalero named Tio Rene' whom the owners of Catedral sought out to put this magic in a bottle. Every sip is remarkable in that you are drinking the secret craft of three generations and experiencing flavors of Oaxaca. Aside from the earthy, smokey and wooden notes you'll get on first sip, the addition of the Mexicano agave adds a sweet to***co note as well as bursts of sour apple. Truly a marvelous Mezcal. Stop by and have a sip of this masterly crafted spirit! From 4:30pm to 7:pm.

Tonight we're happy to be hosting a tasting of a store favorite, Madre Mezcal! This is one of the first blends of Mezcals to have been brought to the market at a decent price considering it is made up of 70% Espadin and 30% Cuishe. The addition of Cuishe makes it quite smokey and a rare find. The Cuishe agave can only be found in the wild since it can't be domesticated which makes single varietal bottles of Cuishe VERY expensive. So stop by this Friday night and sample this superb Mezcal from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

Stop by tonight and sample some delicious canned Cocktails! Dio cocktails contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Each can is two servings and contains less than 8 grams of sugar per can. These are not only thoughtfully crafted but taste extraordinary with all of the ingredients listed on the can. Pure divinity. Stop by this evening to experienc some amazing Tequilas! We'll be sampling Tepozan Tequila, both their Blanco and Reposado. 100% additive free and made with essential ingredients of mature blue agave, natural yeast, and volcanic-filtered well water from their estate. The Blanco is minerally with verdant flavors of Jalisco's wild fields while the Reposado is aged up to 6 months in Kentucky White Oak bourbon barrels which imparts dried tropical fruit, honey and fresh cracked pepper. The weather is getting warmer and we've got the proper libation for you. Stop by from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and get a sip!

If ever there were a time to taste some stupendous Mezcal, this evening is that time. Stop by to smaple Bosscal Mezcal from Durang, Mexico. The Agave that is used from this region is Cenizo which imparts notes of sweet nectar, some ash, a little saltiness and an incredible long finish. We have all of their expressions to taste -

The Joven which imparts a light smoke, crispness, smooth citrusnotes of orange and blood orange with some sweet and tartness

Secondly we have their Damiana which still retains the light smoke, crispness and citrus notes but brings amazing herbal notes from the Damiana flower that is added into the second distillation (Damiana is a traditional herb that thrives in the same regions as agave, has been used to this day by the Mexican people and culture and was a favorite of the Aztecs. The herb historically was used mostly to increase sexual desire [as an aphrodisiac] and is also known for its euphoric capabilities, used to maintain both mental & physical stamina).

Lastly we will be tasting their Pechuga Mezcal called Conejo, which is alway scrafted as a celebratory spirit. This Bosscal Pechuga production is limited due to the special ingredients of the local apples that must be in season in order for them to be added to the distillate. This mezcal is triple-distilled and the third distillation requires the vapors to pass through a suspended, skinless rabbit (“pechuga” means ‘breast’ in Spanish) before it condenses to form the mezcal one can drink. Deep within the flavor you may get hints of an amazing apples, mandarin, apricot, plums and quince fruit which all carry with great balance.

You should also know that The agave is wild grown, organic, free of pesticides and hand-picked at age. Each plant is strategically picked with preservation in mind, ensuring the sustainabiliity of each harvest and ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.

Stop by this evening for some of the best Gin you'll ever have. We'll be tasting Barr Hill gin from Vermont. Their secret formula is minimalism. The gin is made wih just juniper and a touch of honey from their own farm. The Tom Cat Gin is one where they age the gin in freshly charred barrels for a short time giving it a little vanilla, caramel tannic grip and lastly we have their newly released Gin & Tonic cocktail that's made with the gin and a house made Tonic syrup. Every item is a knock out! Come by from 4:30 to 7:30pm taste these exceptinal spirits.
