Gene and I would like to personally thank our past & present employees , the Village of New Knoxville and all loyal customers from surrounding communities near and far for their loyal support.
As many of you know, we are waiting on a Kidney Transplant for Gene. As we wait, we are starting home dialysis. This will require me to be at home alot more. With that being said we made the decision to sell The Village Market and deli.
Transfer of inventory & equipment took place on July 20th . National oil and Gas will still own the property.
It was a BITTERSWEET DAY for me , as I loved my job ,the people ,the employees..and HELPING people!!
I prayed about this ALOT & the answer God kept giving me was "Let it Go " . Yes Gene and I cried many tears...this had been my life for the past 26 years ..very hard to let it goBut God just kept telling us it was time & and I was needed at home.
We have many fond memories , stories, & friendships that will last a lifetime.....PRICELESS!!!
Thinking back to when we started the store 26 years ago in the little "Jack Kuck's I
G.A. " we have come a long way.
Gene and I will cherish the memories & friendships we have made, as we hope you will as well . Feel free share your stories if you so like .Would mean alot to us .
Gene and I have enjoyed helping & serving the community.
