To all of our customers, be sure to stay warm and prepare for a possible storm this weekend.
Oh boy! Where are our snow lovers? 😳😳
DELAWARE, LET’S STAY CALM AND GET READY ❄️
We’re not panicking, we’re preparing. Big difference!!
Right now, all the models are lining up and the National Weather Service is on board. Everything still points to a storm. How strong? That part is still being worked out. But if this system comes together the way it’s trending, this could be one of those storms we only see every decade or two.
Snow totals are still the big question. The latest data keeps 8–12 inches firmly on the table, and some areas could see more if the system shifts north and strengthens. That can change, but the threat is real.
Storm impacts are looking most likely Sunday according to the Pivotal App.
Here’s how we prepare the smart Delaware way:
🛒 Spread out shopping
Don’t rush the stores all at once. Pick a day between now and Friday if you can. Let’s keep shelves fair for everyone.
💵 Buy what you need, not what you fear
Plan for 3–5 extra days of essentials. No hoarding.
🔌 Basic power prep
Charge phones, battery packs, top off gas tanks, and know where your flashlights are.
💊 Medications
Refill prescriptions and daily necessities ahead of time.
🐾 Pets
Grab a little extra food and supplies for your animals.
❄️ Snow basics
Have shovels, ice melt, and a plan for cleanup once it’s over.
✈️ Travel expectations
If this storm hits as expected, travel could be difficult or not advised. Plan to stay put if possible!!!
