🥃 MADE RIGHT HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS!

This Friday (10/30), Dan Pontius from Privateer Rum will be behind the tasting bar from 5–8PM, pouring some incredible rums made right here in Ipswich, Massachusetts!

Privateer is one of New England’s standout craft rum distilleries, known for its commitment to quality, long fermentations, careful distillation, and aging in New England’s unique climate. They produce some seriously impressive rums that can go toe-to-toe with some of the best from the Caribbean.

We’ll be tasting through some of their fantastic expressions, including:

🥃 Navy Yard Single Cask
🥃 The Queen’s Share Cask Strength

🥃 BHAKTA SPIRITS TASTING — THIS FRIDAY

Morgan French from BHAKTA Spirits will be behind the tasting bar this Friday from 5–8PM, pouring through some seriously unique spirits from the BHAKTA portfolio.

BHAKTA is known for doing things a little differently, bringing together American wh***ey and some incredible old-world spirits, particularly Armagnac and Calvados, to create bottles you just don’t see every day.

We’ll be tasting across the portfolio, including:

🥃 2013 Rye
🍎 Rye finished in Calvados Casks
🥃 Indian Single Malt

Today from 4–7PM, Justin from Vine Connections will be behind the tasting bar pouring a full lineup from Casarena Bodega y Viñedos in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. 🇦🇷🍷

Justin has personally visited the estate, so this is a great chance to taste through the w**es with someone who has actually been there and knows the story behind them.

We’ll be pouring:

Areyna Torrontés — fresh, bright and aromatic with citrus, light herbal notes, cucumber and a touch of jasmine.

Areyna Malbec — juicy red and black fruit, plum, blackberry, white pepper and plush tannins. A modern, fruit-forward take on Luján de Cuyo Malbec.

Areyna Cabernet Sauvignon — polished, savory and incredibly well balanced, including fruit from very old estate Cabernet vines.

Areyna Owens Vineyard Cabernet — a single-vineyard Cabernet from an 80-year-old pergola-style vineyard, with black and red fruit, cherry, bell pepper, subtle coffee notes, round tannins and a long finish.

A really special Argentina lineup and one you definitely don’t want to miss.

This Friday, we’re doing something a little different at the tasting bar.

Duncan Reiss from Vineyard Road will be here from 5–8PM pouring a lineup of rare Haitian and Mexican cane spirits from Clairin and Alambique Serrano.

Clairin is one of the most traditional expressions of Haitian rum, typically made from fresh sugarcane juice with native cane varieties, spontaneous fermentation, very traditional distillation methods, and minimal intervention. The result is usually incredibly expressive, funky, grassy, floral, and full of character — a completely different world from the sweeter, more familiar styles of rum.

On the Mexican side, Alambique Serrano comes from Santa María Tlalixtac in Oaxaca and is produced by the third-generation Krassel family. They work with hand-harvested cane, wild fermentation, handmade stills, and both traditional and more experimental production methods, creating some seriously unique Oaxacan rum with a ton of personality and terroir.

We’ll be pouring several expressions across both producers, so this is a great chance to taste through two very different cane-spirit traditions side by side.

Another round of Impex Portfolio Tasting this Friday 🥃

Brian Scardino from Impex Beverages will be back behind the bar pouring Scotch from three seriously exciting distilleries:

Ardnamurchan — a newer Highland distillery that’s built a great reputation for character-driven, naturally presented wh**ky with a real sense of place.

GlenAllachie — Billy Walker’s Speyside distillery, known for rich cask influence, bold sherry maturation, and some incredible releases across the range.

Kilchoman — one of Islay’s smaller independent distilleries, making heavily characterful peated wh**ky with a strong farm-to-bottle identity.

If you want to explore three very different sides of modern Scotch, this is a great lineup to taste side by side.

Asaf Cohen, owner of Caminitos, will be behind the bar this Thursday, 10/8 from 5–8PM, pouring some brand-new and exclusive batches.

We’re especially excited about this one because you’ll be among the first people in the state to taste these new releases, and we’re proud to be the first to bring them in.

If you already know the Caminitos story, then you know why this is worth stopping by for. And if you don’t, this is the perfect chance to come meet Asaf, hear the story directly from the owner, and find out what all the hype is about.

We’ll be sampling 8–10 different expressions throughout the evening, including several new batches.

Andy DeFarias will be joining us for a guided Heaven Hill portfolio dinner and masterclass built around an incredible lineup of bourbons, paired with a four-course plated dinner.

This Saturday, Michael Caira from Classic W**es will be behind the tasting bar pouring an all-Dow’s Port lineup from 4–7PM 🍷

Dow’s has been producing Port from Portugal’s Douro Valley for more than two centuries, and since 1912 five generations of the Symington family have worked with the house’s vineyards, including Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira. Dow’s is especially known for a more structured, comparatively dry style of Port.

We’ll be pouring:

Dow’s Fine White Port
Rich and nutty with a golden color, balanced acidity, and a long finish. Dow’s even recommends serving it over ice with tonic, mint, and lemon.

Dow’s Fine Ruby Port
Fresh and youthful with raspberry and cherry notes, a deep ruby color, and a long, intense finish.

Dow’s 10 Year Tawny Port
Aged for a decade in seasoned oak, with red cherry, almond, peppery spice, marmalade, and that signature dry edge Dow’s is known for.

Dow’s 20 Year Tawny Port
Two decades of aging bring honeysuckle, butterscotch, concentrated red fruit, to***co, and an elegant, dry finish.

If you’ve ever wanted to understand the difference between White, Ruby, and aged Tawny Port, this is a perfect lineup to taste side by side.
