Today is a perfect day to celebrate this beloved bivalve!

Crisp and mineral-driven white wines are a perfect accompaniment to the briny oyster. 🥂

Oysters are good for the environment, too. 🌎 One oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day. What a wonderful addition to the sea! A true champion of the environment.

In Shanken’s latest Impact report of the Top 20 Champagne brands in the USA, Champagne Collet has risen one spot to #17 in the Top 20. 👏

Pascal Boye is quoted in the article referencing pricing in the United States: “After the Covid craziness, now you see pricing even from the top Champagne houses coming down to a more sustainable level,” remarks Pascal Boye, vice president of sales and marketing at Champagne Collet Americas. “We have been steady on our pricing. I think the consumer and the trade appreciate that because the economic context is not easy in the US and we’re trying to capture this new generation.”

Thank you to Robb Report for including Chapter 24 Last Chapter Pinot Noir as one of the 7 Best Oregon Pinot Noir Brands to Buy Now. We started this project in 2011 with the late Mark Tarlov and it continues to be a wine we are very proud to make.

One of the best regions for growing Pinot Noir in the US, Oregon's reds lean toward a Burgundian style that have led French winemakers to flock there.

Happy Summer solstice! ☀️

Today is the longest day (and shortest night) of the year, or the day with the most hours of sunlight. It also signals the official start to Summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

Vanya Cullen of Cullen Wines in Margaret River, Western Australia, takes these sun and moon phases seriously. We are halfway through Oregon Wine Month! How are you supporting Oregon wineries like our Maison l’Envoye?

This wine hails from prime vineyards in Willamette Valley (Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills and Eola Amity Hills primarily). The fruit was handpicked and 20% fermented as whole clusters. The balance was de-stemmed, and underwent whole berry fermentation in two and five-ton open top tanks.

The wine is supple and handsomely structured, with multilayered raspberry and cherry flavors accented by dusty spice and savory forest floor notes.

Can Chardonnay age? Absolutely.

This is the top Chardonnay from Cullen Wines in Margaret River. It is now named for Kevin John Cullen, the founding patriarch who was a passionate believer in Margaret River’s potential to become one of the world’s great regions for Chardonnay. From the 2006 vintage, Vanya named the Cullen Chardonnay after him.
