I wanted to start 2026 off at the beginning. I was feeling homesick one night when I thought of the line, "If you're comin' down 80, you just might miss it." The rest of it just poured outta me, though it wasn't pretty. So I asked the only other songwriter I knew who could truly understand me - my Dad. Not only did he help me write this song, he sang backup vocals! This isn't just a song to me - it's a time capsule of my life, and a constant reminder of where I've come from. I hope you enjoy it 😎
