While we are on the road to 2026 we are closing out our 2025 season!!!! However I am offering the site for a base camp for hunters the first week of buck season. Located less than 20 mins from National Forest and have room to park pickup and trailers for atvs etc., outside camp fire and chairs available.

Have friend or family that doesn’t want to hotel but wants to enjoy the outdoor experience this is the way to go!!!

The last weekend for the 2025 season will be the first weekend in November. The retreat will be winterized in 11/3…..

Some our recent guest heard a loud voice from the porch….why…because we have been Training Sunny!!! We introduce Sunny the new warden!! He has been selected to be the head rodent control unit for the mountain….he had a friend but she decided she would rather live on the run, hope she makes it wherever she got too….

However Sunny has been taming down responds to his name and is loving human interaction …..still not a fan of the GSDs….and get yummy cat food in addition to whatever he decides devour from the outside!

But if you visit us Sunny lives here and isn’t abandoned. He is a welcome addition to the mountain and we look forward to visiting him when we stay
