The Quartz Source has a great variety of rocks and minerals, from Amethyst to Zincite, and many in b We are pleased to be open for business.

We are open for on-site shopping, no appointment needed. We do ask our customers to wear a face mask while shopping inside, due to the small size of our store. We also have many young children under the age of 12 who visit. Store hours: Tuesday thru Saturday 10-5

Everyone here at The Quartz Source is very grateful to all our customers who support us by shopping at our store.

Our hours of operation are a bit different for next week, with the Thanksgiving holiday.

We will be open Tuesday for regular hours (10-5, Closed for Lunch 1-2)

Wednesday, we will be open from 10-2pm
Thursday, we are closed for the day to celebrated with family and friends.
We return Friday and Saturday at our regular hours.

More New Inventory!! ❤️

We are excited to welcome these lovely Natural Citrine Spires to our store. Each one is looking for a loving home in which to brighten up any room.

The "natural" citrine is a smoky quartz-citrine blend that is naturally irradiated (heated) to give it that darker hue. These beautiful specimens were found in Brazil.

Another arrival from Brazil are these lovely Clear Quartz Clusters. These exquisite specimens hold little to no mineral inclusions, which give them their sparkly, clear iridescence.

New Inventory is Here!

We are excited to acquire some beautiful specimens from Brazil, Uruguay, and the USA.

The rare find of the day is the Citrine Flat Bottom Geodes, which have a stunning golden yellow coloration. The stunning logs of Petrified Wood from the Eden Mills Mine will make a beautiful addition to any fossil collection, along with the White Ammonite fossils.

Uruguay has some stunning Amethyst Geodes as well, which we were able to restock. These are a favorite of many customers!

An afternoon of Spring Cleaning in the warehouse led to this wonderful discovery. Chasing Rainbows - The Field Collection Diaries of NH Mineralogist Peter Samuelson is a personal member that spans 30 years of his mineral collecting in New Hampshire. This book, originally published in 2002, has been out of print for a number of years now, and is VERY difficult to locate and purchase.

This would make a wonderful gift for any minerologist/rock hounding enthusiast who may be interested in learning the history of rock and gem collecting in the state of New Hampshire.

A new arrival of Black Tourmaline arrived in the store yesterday. These beautiful 1 inch to 2 inch sized specimens are affordably priced between $6.00-$12.00 each.

Black Tourmaline, otherwise known as Schorl has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures as a protective totem against negativity. In the 1800's Tourmaline became popular to use in jewelry.

It is widely used nowadays to assist in grounding and balancing one's energetic fields, as well as to absorb all types of negativity that surrounds us on a daily basis. It is an excellent stone to have in one's collection.
