Last night at 305 Wines, we hosted a Bernard Magrez portfolio tasting presented by Antoine Dalis. Guests explored different vintages of Château La Tour Carnet, Château Fombrauge, Château Pape Clément Blanc and Rouge, and Château Haut-Peyraguey Sauternes while learning more about the estates, and styles behind each wine.

Built around the 2016 vintage, this edition blends 146 wines from 11 years, back to 1998. Reserve wines make up 42% of the blend, bringing depth, texture, and consistency. Aged over 7 years before release.

Expect citrus, white flowers, toasted brioche, almond, marzipan, spice, and roasted nuts with a long saline finish and remarkable freshness. Powerful and precise.

The 2024 Roc Breïa Mâcon-Villages just landed at 305 Wines — and this is not your average Mâcon. Théo Dancer (son of Chassagne-Montrachet legend Vincent Dancer) is making white Burgundy at a level that punches way above its appellation. Old vines, limestone soils, neutral barrels, zero filtration.

Pure, textural, mineral Chardonnay with serious depth. This is the kind of bottle you open and can’t stop talking about.

Pale salmon in color, with aromas of fresh red berries, citrus peel, and a light floral note. Dry, with fine mousse, bright acidity, and a clean, focused finish.

Blend based on 2020: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, aged 36 months on lees with Extra Brut dosage.
