For the first time ever, we’re introducing Cake Decorating 101 at Sweet Assembly Studio!

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for anyone who has ever wanted to learn the fundamentals of cake decorating. Together we’ll cover filling, stacking, frosting, and decorating a cake from start to finish while learning classic vintage piping techniques along the way.

You’ll learn how to:
✨ Fill and stack cake layers
✨ Create a smooth buttercream finish
✨ Pipe vintage-inspired borders
✨ Add pearls, florals, and finishing details

No experience required. Whether you’ve never picked up a piping bag or simply want to build confidence in your decorating skills, this class was designed for you.

One of the best parts about wedding weekends in New Orleans is getting to work alongside so many familiar vendors over and over again.
