This past week UNFI, our biggest wholesale grocery supplier, suffered a cyberattack and was forced to shut down all IT systems which has resulted in disruptions to all delivery schedules. This has caused our inventory levels to fall below our acceptable standards. Right now we are working with our secondary suppliers to replenish our shelves as best we can. Core staples like bread, milk and eggs, among others have not been affected. Our team is doing everything we can meet your needs to the best of our ability. We’ve been advised that UNFI hopes to have this issue resolved by this weekend, but we have additional plans in place to keep product flowing to our shelves in the event this lasts longer than expected. We are not alone in this, as many other Northwoods stores are equally affected.
