You’ve probably seen Angel’s Envy on the shelf
but this one’s a little different.

This is their Bottled-in-Bond release — which means:
‱ 100 proof
‱ Aged under strict standards
‱ From a single distilling season

And unlike their classic bottle, this one skips the port wine barrel finish — so you’re getting a more traditional bourbon profile.

What to expect:
Caramel, vanilla, and honey up front
→ baked apple + brown sugar
→ with a slightly spicier, oak-driven finish

It’s richer, a little bolder, and closer to what bourbon purists are looking for.

And if this one’s been on your radar — tomorrow is Whiskey Wednesday đŸ„ƒ 10% OFF all whiskey & bourbon, all day.

Kirby Wines & Liquors

Beginning humbly in 1985 with 1,200 square feet, Phil and Terry Woodard opened Kirby Liquor and Wines in the Kirby Gate shopping center. It was the first shopping center as far as the eye could see and there was only a stop sign at the intersection of Kirby Parkway and Quince Road. The Woodard’s experience in the business was limited to a South Memphis package store on Florida Street they had purchased from Phil’s father. But, with the population moving farther east, they saw a need and took the leap. The wine industry was a boom in the ‘80s and the Woodard’s built a diverse wine inventory driven primarily by customer requests. The store expanded five times and is now 8,000 square feet. There was also a name change to “Kirby Wines & Liquors” to reflect the focus of the store.
