Hello!

I had my CT scan of my lungs today. It may be a few more days before I get those results. I am hopeful that the report will FINALLY show some improvement! Fingers crossed!

The side effects from the increase in medication seem to be gone! Last week was rough dealing with that! My lungs also seem to be happy going from 80mg of Prednisone to 60 mg. Let's hope they stay happy!

I also pretty consistently work on how to stay active with the tools I have. Those tools mostly include my oxygen units (which I cannot move at all without) and my oxygen sensor ring that I bought myself for Mother's Day that has been a Godsend for helping me monitor my oxygen levels and keep them in check.

This past weekend, I was able to spend time with my Mom in Theodore Roosevelt National Park! Of course we found some horses! 7 bands worth!

Another photographer came up to me as we made our way back to the car. I was pulling my cart that holds 2 oxygen tanks that give me about 3 hours of oxygen. She said she really hoped I was feeling better. I told her I actually was. She said "That doesn't look like fun at all." Meaning me pulling the oxygen tanks along with me.

I said "It is not fun!" But THIS is better than it has been.

I all truthfulness, that was probably the best day I had all year, even if I had to pull oxygen along with me. It doesn't matter to me, I get to be active and continue to do the things I love.

THAT is what matters!

Sunday, Gary and I took a woman from Indiana out on our first tour of the season! Gary wasn't sure we would be able to do tours this year but I insisted we would.

Here we are!

I had Gary take this photo of me. I had 2 small tanks of oxygen in my backpack that give me over an hour of continuous oxygen. That was enough for the 1 mile round trip hike we took. The woman was so happy to be able to experience our amazing wild horses and I was happy to be part of that experience with her!

I hope you enjoy the happier update today. I still have a long way to go and a possible medication roller coaster ride to get through this summer, but one day and one step at a time I am getting there!

Thank you again to all of you for your warm thoughts, prayers and support! We appreciate each one of you!
