Happy International Women’s Day! Today, we’re celebrating Kiki, who you probably recognize from ringing you up at the register or greeting you when you first walk into the shop.

She started out as a seasonal employee back in the summer of 2022 and is now a full-time team member, fully immersed in the wine shop culture and always eager to learn more about wine and spirits. Quiet at first, but always the first to jump in and help with whatever needs doing—whether it’s organizing displays, handling signage, or keeping the shelves in perfect order.

Her positivity and can-do attitude never go unnoticed, and we’re so lucky to have her on the team. Here’s to Kiki and all the amazing women out there today!

The last few days have been a whirlwind! We hit the ground running and have already visited nearly 10 distilleries with a few more still to go! Stops so far include El Pandillo, Mijenta, Siete Leguas, and Fortaleza, just to name a few. But this trip has been about more than just tequila. We've been taking it all in. The food, the people, the incredible landscapes, and really appreciating everything that makes this region so special. And somehow, even with these packed days, we’ve come to love those quiet 7am mornings at our hotels with a cup coffee to kick start the day. Because life’s all about balance: caffeine to get us going, tequila to keep us going!

We made it to Mexico! 🇲🇽 After landing in Guadalajara yesterday, we took a drive out to do a little sightseeing before the tequila tours started. One of the stops was Los Guachimontones, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its nearly perfectly circular pyramids. This ancient site dates back to around 300 BCE and it was pretty amazing to see in person. But today is all about tequila as we kick off our first tour and tasting at Cascahuin. Should be a fun week!
